31 Days of Imago Dei (Doctrinal Daily Bread)

So last year, I wrote down a list of things that I'd like to write about. The doctrine of Imago Dei (Latin for the image of God) came in at the top of that list. It is so much more important than we realize, guys - it's practical and ties into a ton of different themes in the Scriptures. So let me make a deal with you: come to this blog every day, over the next 31 days of October, and let me show you how this doctrine plays out. Let me show you how it affects your lives; how it affects your understanding of the Bible; how it affects your understanding of God; how it affects your understanding of salvation. Each blog is going to be Daily Bread short, so you can read it in 2.5 minutes. Tune in tomorrow for entry #1! If you miss the blog for a couple of days in a row, I will have a separate page for these entries so that you can go there and catch up.

In the meantime, while you are waiting for the Image of God series, check out the series that are already up on the right hand of the page - there are some sweet entries in On the Holy Spirit (Ryan) and The Gospel of Mark (Me) that you should read if you have the chance.
